Barbara Brown
August 10, 1939 - November 22, 2016
Barbara was born and raised in Port Hope, Ontario. She spent many years with her own young family in different parts of the province before moving onto Saskatchewan. Barb and Dave retired to the Red Deer area, where they have lived for the past 23 years.
She is predeceased by her parents Manuel and Thelma Goodman, her in-laws Douglas and Bertha Brown and her daughter Maureen.
She is survived by her husband David, their sons Gregory (Jill Hockin), Andrew (Tammy) and grandchildren: Madeline; Cole, Wade and Janine.
During life’s journey, Barb enjoyed volunteering and many activities but was happiest when in the company of family and friends. Her love for music and participation in choirs as a singer and a pianist were lifelong passions. Her smile was quick and engaging but she was never hesitant to voice her opinion on a wide variety of topics, including politics.
It is requested that any memorial contributions be made to a charitable organization.
