Charles Koenig
April 14, 1934 - January 16, 2017
Charles (Chuck) Koenig passed away at Bethany Collegeside on January 16, 2017 at the age of 82 years.
Chuck was an avid golfer, with seven hole in ones in his golfing career. He had a love of the outdoors, which he enjoyed by years of camping and fishing. Chuck was self-employed throughout his life, with many fulfilling careers. Chuck will be fondly remembered by his loving wife Helen; his children, Kevin, Gregg (Carolyn), and Pam (Darryl); his siblings, Tom and Warren from B.C., and Marilyn and Donald from Red Deer; as well as his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Chuck was predeceased by his parents Katie and William; the children’s mother, Shirley; as well as his brother Mel.
The family would like to thank the staff at Bethany Collegeside for the loving care they gave to Chuck. A private family graveside service will be held at Alto-Reste Cemetery in Red Deer, Alberta.
