Elsie is survived by her sister, Juanita and her husband, Lawrence (Johnsson) and their three daughters, Nancy, Jamie (Mark Petrowich) and Lori (Sandy McMurray); her dedicated sister-in-law Lewanna and her family, Tyron, Tonya, Ryan (Sabrina) and Kyle; along with ten great nieces and nephews and two great great nephews. She owned The Tartan Shop and worked for the Bay Parkade and Zellers stores. She loved to play her mandolin, guitar, sing and yodel. She was a talented tailor, artist, gardener, cook and bird-watcher and was devoted to her Siamese cats. She loved visiting Hawaii and spent thirteen winters there.
