Henry Weich, beloved husband of Mrs. Margaret Weich of Red Deer, passed away at the Extendicare Red Deer on August 31, 2016 at the age of 92 years.
He was the loving father of Alan, Doug, Ken, Peggy and Betty. He will be dearly missed by his 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He will also be lovingly remembered by sisters in law Beth, Mary, Barbara, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two brothers Art and Reinhardt, wife Margaret and sons Alan and Doug.
Henry was born in Hanna, Alberta December 3, 1923. As a child his family farmed in the Scapa area. He attended school to Grade 12 and then went on to University. Henry also raised a family and farmed in the Scapa area. Later, he worked as school board Secretary Treasurer in Hanna and then Red Deer.
A Memorial Service will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 40 Holmes Street, Red Deer, AB on Saturday September 10, 2016 at 2:00pm.
