<div itemprop="description">Faye Alice Heintz (Dickson) passed away peacefully on Monday, January 26, 2015 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital, Alberta, at the age of 78 years. She was born to the late John and Bernice Dickson (Bachelder) on July 7th, 1936 in Kerrobert, Saskatchewan. <br /> <br />Faye grew up and attended school in Major Saskatchewan. She later worked in Kerrobert and Major until she married Leslie Heintz on October 9th, 1956 in Major Saskatchewan. They lived in Estevan, Saskatchewan for 4 years, Drayton Valley, Edmonton, and Red Deer, Alberta before moving back to Major in 1964 to start farming. In 1995, they sold the farm equipment and animals, but remained on the farm until 1999 when they moved back to Red Deer to start retirement. Throughout her life, Faye was an active member of the community and United Church. <br /> <br />Faye is survived by her loving husband, Leslie, two sons; Terry (Lenora) and Dale (Patricia), two brothers; Garth (Betty) and Doug Dickson, sister-in-law, Darlene Dickson, eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Faye was predeceased by two sons; Randy and Ken Heintz, granddaughter, Andrea, brother, Dennis Dickson, and sister-in-law, Lluella. <br /> <br />A Memorial Service will be held at Gaetz Memorial United Church, 4758 Ross Street, Red Deer, on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. Inurnment will take place at Alto Reste Cemetery, Hwy 11 East, Red Deer County, prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The family wishes to thank all of those that helped Faye over the last 2 months in the Palliative care Unit in the Red Deer Regional Hospital. <br />In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Faye&rsquo;s honor may be made directly to a charity of your choice. <br /> <br />&ldquo;Don&rsquo;t Cry because it&rsquo;s Over, Smile because it Happened&rdquo; &ndash; Dr. Suess <br /></div>
