Fredrick Neubeker
June 10, 1932 - October 4, 2016
Fredrick Elmer Neubeker, born in Bateman, Saskatchewan on June 10th, 1932 passed away peacefully on October 4th, 2016 in Red Deer, Alberta with family by his side. Fred fought an incredible fight with cancer.
He is survived by his son Bryan (Ginny), daughters Maureen and Laureen (Craig). Grandchildren Beth (Mike), Jeffrey (Leeanne), Mike (Natasha), Bryan and Randy, along with great grand children Austin, Robbie, Mikayla and Klarissa. Sisters Minnie, Mary and Joan. Sisters in law Gwen and Carol. Brothers in law Jim and Dave (Maxine) along with many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Patricia, mother Elizabeth, father Fred, brothers and sisters Johnny, Henry, Isabel, Wilbert, Kay, Elmer and Ernie.
Fred's life's work was spent serving in the construction industry. He was respected by many for his knowledge in the ceilings, walls and acoustics industry. He continued to help people and businesses long after his retirement in 2003.
His retirement was filled with serving the community of Bashaw, Alberta where he dedicated thousands of volunteer hours to the Lutheran Church, friends, Theatre, Happy Gang, AG Society, Legion and as an 'honorary member' of the Women's Institute.
Fred will be missed but we take comfort in knowing that he his thrilled with his new home, reunited with his loved ones.
