<div itemprop="description">Young, Hazel Mary (Saunders)<br>June 23, 1932 – September 7, 2016<br><br>Young Hazel Mary (Saunders) of Michener Extended Care passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Wednesday September 7, 2016 at the age of 84 years. Hazel leaves to mourn her loving children Sons Murray (Karen), Robert (Deanne) her daughter Kathy (Brian) Pyper and daughter-in-law Susan (Bob) Parker. Seven grandchildren Jennifer (Patou), John ( Melissa), Amy (Dustin), Crystal (Jon), Stacy (Dan), Nicholas (Sara), Matthew (Shelagh). 12 great grand children Joshua ,Sasha, Vivian, Nicola and one on the way, Cicely, Lance, Skyla, Addiline, Kieran, Ayla, Lewis. As well as numerous nieces and nephews, and her brother Don. Hazel was predeceased by her husband Howard, son Ron, and Sisters Jean, Margaret, brothers Roy, Lee, Charlie and Herb. <br>Hazel was raised and farmed in the Woodynook /Spruceville district and later farmed in the Bentley area, later retiring to Red Deer in 2000. Hazel worked at a few places but enjoyed farming with Howard. She loved all sports but her curling years where the best where she made many good friends. Hazels grandchildren & great grandchildren where her most precious gifts.<br>A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 1:00p.m. at the St. Andrews United church 5226-51 Ave. Lacombe Alberta. If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the Red Deer Regional hospital and/or donor’s choice.<br></div>
