She is survived by her devoted daughter, Colleen (Red Deer), sons: Ken (Taber), Dale (Gimli), two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Joining us in sorrow are her special sister-in-law, Sheila Trueblood (Dapp), her cherished nieces and nephews: Jim and Judy Hide (Westlock), Eileen and Gary Muri (Barrhead), Norman and Linda Trueblood (San Francisco), Sharon Trueblood and Ken Rybryna (Spruce Grove), Briand and Arla Trueblood (Dapp), her older cousin, Bud Wolff (Westlock), and all of their families.

Helen was predeceased by the greatest love of her life for over sixty years, husband Ronald in March of 2007, eldest son Dwain in December 1988, her greatly respected big brother Del Trueblood in April of 2004, and her admired and envied sister Lucile Hide in February of 2000. Their shared histories were a source of constant conversation and laughter that will never be forgotten.

Inurnment at the Dapp Cemetery will take place in the spring. The family honours and respects Helen’s final wishes.

May we all take comfort in our memories and rejoice with the happiness Helen’s life brought to all who knew her.
