<div itemprop="description">It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Alexander Lachance on February 5, 2017 at the age of 83. John was born in Alliance, Alberta on November 13, 1933 to Alexander and Mamie Lachnace. He is survived by his five children: Delores (Larry) St. Jean, Caroline Lachance, Lenard (Toni) Lachance, Tammy Penny, Ray (Mona) Lachance. Two step daughters Diane (Danny) Clay and Debbie Bystrom. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. John was predeceased by his son Dale (Tamme), and infants Ralph and Sharon.<br><br>A private family gathering will be held in Lindale, Alberta this summer. <br><br>Donations in John’s honor may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society, #1 5550 45 street, Red Deer, AB T4N 1L1 or Horizon House Seniors Mental Health, Box 1000 Ponoka, AB, T4J 1R8 (cheques may be made out to Red Deer Regional Health Foundation Memo: Horizon House).<br></div>
