<div itemprop="description">STENE, Linda Elaine<br /><br />Linda Elaine Stene passed away unexpectedly at her home in Red Deer, AB at the age of 70 years. Linda was born on April 25, 1944 in Turtleford, Sask. She spent most of her life as a homemaker and mother. Later in life, she started her own janitorial company and finally retired in 2006. Linda was a very kind, generous and loving mother and friend who gave unconditionally in everything she did. Predeceased by her beloved husband Warner, Linda leaves behind to mourn her loss, her children Bryan and his wife Alyne of Halifax, NS, and Kim and her husband Jayson and their four children of Red Deer; Neil MacFarlane (Linda&rsquo;s &ldquo;#2 son&rdquo;) of California. Linda is also survived by her brother Merle Gordon and her sister Edna Cooper, as well as numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends. Linda was predeceased by her mother Hazel, her father George, her step-father Archibald (Nig), and her brother Lyle. We would also like to express our thanks to the Red Deer emergency services, RCMP and the staff of Eventide for their professional and tender care. A Memorial Service will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820-45 Street, Red Deer, on Friday, July 11, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. <br /><br /></div>
