<div itemprop="description">DOCKSTADER, Ruth (nee: Windeatt) <br /> <br />Ruth Dockstader passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Hospice on Monday, April 27, 2015 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Beloved mother of two daughters, Debbie Crawford and Bobbie (Tracy Reberger) Bowman; Grandma to Chris (Melissa) Crawford, Cheryl (Chad) Nicholls, Kaylie (Alex) Dodman, Starr Bowman, James Bowman; Great-Grandma to Adalynn Crawford; Declan, Ryan and Evan Nicholls; Teagean, Colby and Russell Dodman; Keianna and JJ Aubin; and a special adopted family Karen and Allan Kotanko and family. Ruth is also survived by her sister Billie (Les) Irwin; brother Bob (Marlene) Windeatt; special niece and nephew Sherry and Bryan Taylor and their son Scott (Courtney); numerous other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Russell; parents Nel and Bill Windeatt; sisters Joan Janzen and Mary-Ellen Kelly. As per Ruth&rsquo;s request, no funeral service will be held after the cremation. Memorial tributes in Ruth&rsquo;s honour may be made directly to the charity of the donor&rsquo;s choice. <br /> <br />We are grateful to family, friends and Consort Home Care for the support and expressions of kindness and sympathy shown during Mom&rsquo;s lengthy illness. A special thank you to Dr. Hopfner, the nurses at the Red Deer Regional Hospital and the Red Deer Hospice for the loving care, attention and compassion shown to Mom and family during this difficult time. Many thanks to the Eventide Funeral Home for their understanding and guidance. Bless all who have had a positive touch in Mom&rsquo;s life. <br /> <br /></div>
