<div itemprop="description">Sarah Jane Mellom of Red Deer passed away at Michener Hill Extendicare on January 3, 2017 at the age of 92 years. Growing up in Consort AB, she had fond memories of going to the movies on Friday nights and meeting with friends at the cafe after school. Jane liked spending time reading or swimming. An avid walker like her husband, she enjoyed venturing through the Bower Woods and around her Sunnybrook neighbourhood. Jane loved sharing laughs with her siblings and, together with her husband, travelling the world. She will be remembered for seeing the best in others and supporting the people around her. Much loved and sadly missed by her daughters, Anna (Greg), Mary (Mark); grandchildren, Kevin (Nadine), Heather (Roderick), Kia and Katelyn; great grandchildren, Rowan, Josie, A.K.I.L. and Ella. Jane was predeceased by her husband Clarence, and son Arthur. A private service will be held in the summer of 2017. Memorial tributes may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.</div>
