Vivien passed away suddenly at the Red Deer Regional Hospital on Monday, April 12, 2016. Vivien was born July 11, 1934 in Nottingham, England. She retired after many years of service for the Dietary Department at the Red Deer Regional Hospital. Vivien was predeceased by her loving husband, John, her beloved son, Kevin, her father, Bernard, her mother,Violet, step father, Morris, one brother Keith, and one sister Patricia. Vivien is survived by her daughter, Gail (Cliff), Wayne (Carrie), and Steven. She will also be missed by her grandchildren; Russell (Donna), David (Kellie),and Denise (Andrew), great-grandchildren; Lauren, Abigail, Ryeleigh, Cole, and Taylor, and one remaining sister, Ann. A memorial service will be held at Eventide Funeral Chapel, 4820 - 45 Street, Red Deer, on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will follow at Alto Reste Cemetery in the Field of Honour. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Vivien’s honour may be made directly to STARS, 1441 Aviation Park NE, Box 570, Calgary, Alberta, T2E 9Z9.
