<div itemprop="description">Dearly loved wife of Alfred Wuerch for 52 years, Shirley passed away on December 31, 2016 at the Red Deer Regional Hospital. Shirley was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba to Cyril & Nell McDermot in 1926 and was in her 90th year when she passed. <br>She will be sadly missed by her children Christopher Ford (Elaine) of Winnipeg, MB; Kelly Pusey (Tim) of Sundre; and Perry Ford (Michelle) of Calgary. She will also be missed by her four beloved grandchildren Allan Pusey (Fonda) of Winlaw, BC; Jennifer Meads (Oliver) of Winnipeg, MB; Corey Pusey (Courtney) of Innisfail; and Robert Ford (Amanda) of Medicine Hat. Her latest loves, six great grandchildren, will also deeply miss her; Jasmine and Gwen Pusey of Winlaw, BC; Kennedy Holt and Ryan Pusey of Innisfail; Isaac Meads (our only boy) of Winnipeg; and our latest, Lily Ford of Medicine Hat. Shirley is mourned by one brother, Neil McDermot of Winnipeg, Manibota and two sisters, Rhoda Perry of Lacombe and Dawn Schibler of Thunder Bay, Ontario; as well as sister-in-law Florence of Victoria, BC. Among those that will miss her are also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and assorted loving kin. <br>Shirley was predeceased (too soon) by one brother, Lorne McDermot, sister Betty Strome, brothers-in-law Ken Strome, Ken Perry, and Len Schibler. <br>A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 9th, 2017 at 11:00 am at Eventide Funeral Home, 4820-45th Street, Red Deer, Alberta.
